Job Description
Overview:
- Assist in monitoring project activities on daily basis; and consult with Infrastructure Development Coordinator on required adjustments to plans and implementation strategies in order to improve achievement of results based on detailed implementation plans.
- Record keeping of all construction activities in proper reregisters and log books.
- In consultation with Infrastructure Coordinator identify project needs and help to ensure that the tendering process is conducted as per policies and procedures in a timely manner.
- Assist ISDC to monitor the quality control procedures of the contractors.
- Liaison with site engineers to ensure that frequent and regular contractors meetings are held as per mutually agreed schedule; and that written records are kept of key decisions.
- Effectively represent PRIDE in meetings and activities that relate to the success of the program.
- Keep up-to-date on project progress and successes in a presentable form so they can be share at all levels and venues.
Job Specification
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Civil Engineering degree from a reputed University.
- 1-2 Years Experience of project planning and monitoring of small to medium size building construction project in a professional organization.
- Exposure of NESPAK, ERRA and relevant government departments working.
- Proficient computer knowledge and hands on experience of M.S project applications and Auto Cad.
- Experience of preparing project and Tender documents.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience working in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent team-work and team-building skills.
