Junior Php Developer

We are looking for exceptionally intelligent, talented and enthusiastic PHP Developers to be a part of our development team. This position will work closely with the Sr. PHP Developer along with Development Manager and Technical Managers to innovate and create Web applications and widgets. The major responsibilities of the PHP Developer will be: * Working under the Sr. PHP Developer and development manager along with the team of Sr./Jr. PHP Web developers to design, develop, and debug Web applications * Using creativity to innovate new products (widgets, wizards, tools, controls) to enhance Web user experience * Keeping up with new Internet standards and Web technologies (Web 2.0, AJAX, Ruby on Rails, etc.)

Technical Requirements: The ideal candidate will have: * Expertise in working with PHP and MySQL * Proficiency with front-end scripting including: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX * Hands-on experience with web application architecture and relational database design * Familiarity with the LAMP/WAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) * Knowledge of best practices for cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility * Professional experience building database-driven web applications and websites * Exposure to other server-side scripting languages such as JSP, ASP, CFM * Exposure to object-oriented languages such as Java and Microsoft .NET General Requirements: * 1-2 years professional web development experience * CS or technical degree preferred * Strong analytical and problem-solving ability * Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills, enabling knowledge share within team and across teams * Positive attitude and professionalism in the workplace * A good team player with a great sense of humor is always appreciated
