Job Description
TEKenable Pakistan, based in Islamabad, is a subsidiary of TEKenable Ltd, based in Dublin Ireland. We are a Microsoft specialist software house (Microsoft Gold Partner) developing bespoke applications primarily for the Financial and Government sectors in Europe. We are seeking a number of Support and Test Engineers to work in our Islamabad office as part of an extended team (our projects are joint projects with the Dublin office).
The position we are looking to fill will require working from 9pm until 9am seven days per week two weeks on, two weeks off.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidates must meet the following minimum skills/requirements:
1. Fluency in English is essential.
2. Call Centre experience;
3. A BCs or MSc qualification;
4. Knowledge of Windows 2000 and 2003 server environment administration
ADVANTAGEOUS:
:: MCSA on Windows 2003 track
:: Experience in Testing/QA
:: Administration experience with database systems including SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase and DB/2
RESPONSIBILITIES:
:: Taking Support calls from European and Asian customers;
:: Quality Software Testing;
:: System Administration and health monitoring of remote computer servers;
:: Work independently from specifications and from discussion with team members.
:: Able to interact effectively with European team members.
