Job Description

Auditor is required for our Pharmacy chain, who should be able to conduct inventory audits and able to understand pharmacy audit procedures, findings and factors that influence stock loss and shrinkage. He should be familiar with accounting Practices, business principles and internal control concepts and have the interpersonal skills to build credible relationships at all levels. Key responsibilities of the incumbent include:

- Responsible for conducting on site inventory audits. To prepare audit program and conduct internal auditing for retail stores
- To verify audit data through various purchase receipts. Check the inventories of pharmaceutical & consumer products.
- To implement internal controls to prevent or detect material errors and irregularities
- Check & prepare documentation to support physical inventory of the products available in the store.
- Identify factors resulting in shortages or pilferage of stocks.
- Compile and analyze audit reports with necessary documentation and findings.
- Provide recommendations corrective action to improve operation efficiency.
- Ensure timely submission of the audit report to the Management with the supported facts and findings.
- Ensures integrity through monitoring of procedures and policies.
- To carry out, any other duties/activities as and when assigned by the Management.

Job Specification

- Graduate / B.Com.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 years of retail auditing experience preferably in pharmacy.
- Able to understand all of the factors that influence stock loss and shrinkage.
- Self-motivated Professional, Honest, Hardworking, Well groomed and Courteous.
- Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills required.
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines. Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Knowledge of computer operations, Familiarity with Pharmacy software systems would be an asset
- Ability to work independently with general direction
