Job Description: The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for implementing a monitoring and evaluation plan that includes a participatory M&E system and an internal evaluation framework with monitoring indicators,
The main responsibilities are: -
-Implementing the M&E Plan at the field and regional levels
- Assisting the Program Officer/M&E in the implementation of the planning, monitoring and evaluation system for covering project results, activities, indicators and review procedures
- Identifying and documenting lessons learnt; collecting information for case studies; and facilitating periodic reviews.
- Designing and implementing a community compliance monitoring mechanism
- Assisting in preparing regional quarterly and annual progress reports
- Continue working with the monitoring and review mechanism already in place
- Providing backstopping to field teams in the areas of monitoring and evaluation

Skills Required
Education:Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Human Recourse Management, MarketingWork Experience:One year working experience, (programme management, project planning, development and evaluation, preferably at the national level.Languages:Fluency in English both written and spoken required; working knowledge of other local languages will be an advantageOther Desirable Skills: - Ability to draft/edit a variety of written reports in a clear concise style. - Ability to apply good judgment in the context of assignments given. - Ability to plan own work and manage conflicting priorities. - Knowledge of modern computer applications and software and other applications.
