Job Description
a.To provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
b.Responsible for ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
c.To produce detailed proposals for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets).
d.Agreeing to and managing a budget.
e.Securing and booking a suitable venue or location.
f.Planning room layouts and the entertainment program, scheduling workshops and demonstrations.
g.Coordinating staffing requirements and staff briefings.
h.Preparing delegate packs and papers.
i.Liaising with marketing and PR colleagues to promote the event.
j.Liaising with clients and designers to create a brand for the event and organizing the production of tickets, posters, catalogues and sales brochures.
k.Coordinating suppliers, handling client queries and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly.
l.Participates in meetings and special events as required from time to time.
m.To be responsible for communicating effectively with colleagues about all events, ensuring that the program relates to other activity wherever possible.
n.Supports special projects as required
