DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation of Annual / Quarterly / Monthly Order Booking Plans
Understand Commercial Binder, company policies & procedures, Pump selection through catalogue and Win Cap, process applications, Engineering manual, pump theory, installation & operating manual and other technical information.
Visit clients for Introduction and Presentation, Generating Enquiries, Follow-up of submitted quotations. Technical acceptance of offers based on LCCA and product & features benefits, Order finalization and market intelligence about competitor activities. Minimum 30 visits per month to be achieved.
Prepare correct quotations and sent within prescribed time
Ensure that sales discounts are well within the plan
Evaluate live offers, classify them correctly, develop action plan to achieve at least 50% of their conversion into orders.
Ensure that deals are being closed successfully
Evaluates current / previous years sales data including Customers (segments), Products sold
Studies the current situations regarding upcoming Projects/Business, status of potential buying Customers / industries (cement, textile, fertilizer, power plants, etc)
Formulates the order booking possibilities customer / product wise, with degree of certainty of getting business considering the competition and likelihood of business materializing
Divides the forecast month wise / quarter wise, Salesmen wise and product quantity / value wise
Forwards the Forecast to RSM/BM for approval
Every month / quarter prepares and forwards revised / fresh Operational plans to RSM/BM
Sales Growth
With the support of RSM/BM/BM ensure that the Targets are translated into comprehensive Action & Activity plans (Balanced Scorecard)
Sales visits according to plan and high quality, winning, presentations are made to customers decision makers
Ensure that deliveries are being made in time and exactly in accordance with specs. Variation if any are in the knowledge of the RSM/BM
In coordination with RSM/BM ensures that installation and commissioning is carried out smoothly within stipulated time
Ensures that Customer Feedback Forms and Performance Certificates are collected within a month of expiration of Warranty
Ensures that Credit Policy is fully adhered to in letter and spirit
Ensure that sales recoveries are made according to plan
Ensures that customer complaints, if any, are handled immediately and to the satisfaction of the customers
Ensures Warranty Claims are settled immediately as per company policy.
Ensures Govt. Registrations for designated customers
Use daily task sheet for short and long term planning, enter every task to be performed and update it on every evening for the next day planning.
Maintains PR with all key customers
Competitor price feedback report Loss / Gain of order due to techno / commercial reasons); launch of new product; sales promotion activities, discounts variations, new price lists,
Key focus area is: IEM, OEM, Consultants, building contractors & Government departments which ever is applicable.
Market potential evaluation of the existing customers as listed in the category
allocation, and their retention and growth strategy in consultation with RSM/BM.
Prospects new customer, add them in the category list after approval through approval form and generates business from them.
Understands the QMS system , ensure that the processes given in the system are followed in letter and spirit and all related documentations are in order

Salary & Benefits:
30-35 K, Fuel or CNG, Gratuity, Commission, Medical Allowance, Mobile allowance, leaves, maintenance allowance Rs. 2500/- (own conveyance, in case of car) Rs:500/- (in case of bike) only for Sales personnel.
