CAREER OPPORTUNITY AS PROJECT / PLANT MANAGER
GENCO Holding Company Limited (GHCL) is the Managing Agent of following Government-owned Generation Companies (GENCOs) which are responsible for generating electricity efficiently and managing the Operations & Maintenance system of their Power Plants:
i. Jamshoro Power Company Limited, Jamshoro (GENCO-I),
ii. Central Power Generation Company Limited, Guddu (GENCO-II)
iii. Northern Power Generation Company Limited, Muzaffargarh (GENCO•III).
iv. Lakhra Power Generation Company Limited, Lakhra (GENCO-IV).
The position is based at NPGCL Nandipur 425-525 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant in Gujranwala. Plant's is subcontracted to Hydro Electric Power System Engineering Company, a subsidiary of Power China, The plant is successfully running for last so many years.
JOBPROFILE
The incumbent will oversee project/plant's performance in partnership with 08M contractor The Incumbent will manage all contracts his employer has negotiated or will negotiate.
Incumbent shall be responsible for the following salient duties, but not limited to Ensures that entire plant is within regulatory compliance of the contracts, Viz, PPA GSA O&M and other such contracts. Monitor contracts and moving forward with close-out, extension, or renewal of contracts.
Communicate and present information to stakeholders regarding plant performance Review the Tariff, time to time and suggest changes, Play a pivotal role in implementation of operational plans, performance monitoring standard, initiatives and projects relating to the complex Analyze and present reasons/causes behind variance, either positive or negative, in performance benchmarks of plant and O&M Contractor
Ensure timely preparation and submission of invoices,
Analysis of incoming claims, development of defense strategies, supporting/preparing
response/correspondence, claim negotiation and settlement.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• A Graduate Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical 'Electronics/ Mechatronics) with 15-20 years of experience, with at least 05 years of related experience. Preference will be given to the candidates
having Masters in Business Administration or related field
• Previous experience working with contract regulations, related laws in IPP business is strongly preferred
Maximum age 56 years on the last date of submission of application.
REMUNERATION
A market based competitive package will be offered commensurate with the qualification and experience of the candidate,
TENURE
This assignment will be on contract basis for a period of two years, extendable with mutual consent.
