VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Applications are invited for the post of CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO) Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL), Karachi
Pay Scale: spps_lll
Tenure; The appointment will be on contract basis for a period of 03 years
Age. Maximum Age Limit shall be 62 Years on the date of publication of this advertisement.
Minimum Requisite Qualification and Experience:
As defined in the Insurance Companies' (Sound & Prudent Management) Regulations, 2012, issued by SECP on January 9, 2012:
i. The candidate must have a minimum educational qualification of a bachelor degree or equivalent from
an institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan or Foreign Qualification of
equivalent level recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan with at least 10 years'
experience, out of which 05 years as Key Officer in the insurance industry;
OR
ii. Such person must (a) be an ACII or FCII (b) be a Fellow or Associate of the Institute or Society of Actuaries or equivalent qualification as recognized by the Pakistan Society of Actuaries, (c) hold a Master's degree in Insurance, Risk Management or Actuarial Sciences from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan with at least 05 years' experience as Key Officer or Director or Chief Executive or Principal Officer in the insurance industry or as an Officer with Insurance Regulator;
The applicants with prior exposure in the areas of reinsurance, retrocession and public sector entities will be given preference;
