Job Description
The System Administrator (SA) is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
Job Purpose to ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners.
Key Accountabilities
1. Troubleshoot the workstations and resolve the daily users problems.
2. Manage the active directory and users management.
3. Anti virus updates and scanning
4. Mail server management and administrator
5. Backup of servers and database.
6. LAN printers management and configuration
7. LAN management and observation for smooth operations
8. Interpret and/or discuss information with others, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people; regularly provide advice and recommend actions involving rather complex issues.
9 Provides occasional guidance, some of which is technical. Ensure the alignment of the Materials Management organization with the company vision, purpose and priorities.
Job Specification
Good network administration skills.
Following certifications will be plus point for this position.
CCNA certified
CCSP certified
Should have good knowledge of following
Cisco ASA 5500 series
Cisco IDS/IPS
VPN
Security
