Job Description
The position requires the candidate to be involved in the following areas:
- Direct & In-Direct Sales, Sales Leadership and Business negotiations. IT products competitive knowledge and technology analysis, Competitive vendors and system-integrators knowledge
- To establish new accounts in existing/new markets. Development and execution of account strategies and sales plans; and alignment with global/ regional account strategy. To establish a relationship at different levels such as C-level & Senior executives, procurement team, finance team and also meet influencers such as network engineers, business-application teams and IT heads etc.
- Responsible for identifying opportunities to expand business relationship through cross-sells/up-sells of products, develop tactical plans for creating end user demand pull, and protect revenues/prevent cancels through proactive servicing. Disseminate product information to existing customers
- To meet/exceed the assigned license/services sales targets. Responsible for closing deals part of the top down agreed deal targets for the year. Sales forecasting, claim management and risk management
- Create and update account/opportunity plans and account profiles while conducting quarterly/annual business reviews
- As a volunteer role leading tiger team responsible for setting up and driving sales program for markets with the aim of establishing Streebos thought leadership. Tiger includes account managers, solution consultants/managers and marketing executives
- Transfer of project targets for project realization via project target agreement and analysis of regular program status reports received from Project managers
Job Specification
Required Skills / Experience:
- Minimum bachelors degree (BS, BBA, BCS) from a recognized university
- Minimum 4 years software sales & service experience
- Excellent communication & leadership skills
- Self motivated and drive to get things done
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities; and deliver on tough deadlines
- Experience of working with marketing team(s) to drive the business
- Ability to quickly understand and articulate the value proposition of solutions
- Experience in product/solution marketing and vendor positioning at the group level
Nice to have:
- Experience in IBM domain solutions
- Creativity and urge to take initiatives
- International selling experience (specifically Asia Pacific region)
