Job Description
1. Provide vision & leadership to project teams & undertake team building to meet project objectives.
2. Provide input to design policy and advocacy strategies & participate actively in all strategic activities.
3. Provide input to design, plan & monitor project strategies & activities.
4. Support District Managers in developing & implementing formal education interventions.
5. Support development & implementation of district education plans.
6. Provide input to design community organization & participatory strategies.
7. Provide input to develop strategy papers, analytical, progress & process reports.
8. Coordinate with field offices, relevant district government departments & civil society organizations.
9. Coordinate with Donor to submit the technical reports and their feedback.
10. Responsible for supervising budgeting, forecasting & project financial activities.
Job Specification
Excellent communication, reporting & presentation skills
Ability to develop analytical reports
Command over computer skills i.e. Ms. Word, Excel, Power Point, email, Project Management Software
Understanding of educational/ voc training programs & education planning at national/provincial and district level
Ability to provide implementation support & coordinate among team members at head office & field level
Ability to identify HRD requirements
Strong knowledge of National Education Policy & Education Sector Reforms and Trends in Formal & Non Formal Education, and Literacy
