Civil Engineer

-Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to evaluate the design of the project -Review the detailed design submitted by the Vendor. Review to focus on the compatibility with the requirements and the standards -Prepare reports, review construction schedules and implement changes as necessary -Calculates cost and determines feasibility of any changes required for the project based on analysis of collected data, applying knowledge and techniques of engineering and applied mathematics -Inspects construction site to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications and safety standards -Liaise with vendors. Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site to ensure timely completion of the project -Coordinate with government departments for smooth functioning at the project site

-Excellent Analytical skills and sound in advanced mathematics -Proficient in use of computer assisted engineering and design software -Strong communication and presentation skills -Good interpersonal skills -Leadership and decision making ability -Thorough knowledge of Environment and Safety Standards -Proficient in MS Office and MS Project
