Seeking a QA/Tester with Web based and mobile Applications
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Create test plans and test strategies in web based and Mobile Applications
- Execute test cases for mobile applications developed on Android, iOS, Blackberry, and Windows Mobile systems.
- Functional, regression, GUI, backend, WAP, SMS, and system testing.
- Design, develop and execute automated and manual tests
- Contribute to increasing test coverage on Automated Mobile Device and Web Service testing
- Proven experience with manual testing including system, regression, use case and functional testing
- Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
Job Specification
- Test experience with applications and components on one or more Mobile platforms (Android SDK, iPhone SDK and RIM\BlackBerry
- Demonstratable understanding of transactional product usability issues, preferably in the mobile services industry
- Recent, within the last year, performance/load test experience on web applications of at least 3 years in length
- Experience with HP/Mercury LoadRunner test tool on web applications
- Experience testing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)/Web Services is preferred
- Background in functional/automated testing with the ability to plan, design, script and execute test cases
- Experience of Agile software development practices
- Experienced in the maintenance of automated test scripts
- Proven diagnostic and debugging skills
