Job Purpose:
Technical content writer is responsible for designing, creating, maintaining product release document and updating technical documentation including installation guides, troubleshooting guides, feature lists, tutorials, and end-user manuals.
All these documents are extremely important as they provide the information about how to use the product efficiently, configure / troubleshoot the product and find out new features in the product.
Major Job Descriptions:
- Creates drafts, edits and publishes documents designed to explain how to use the components in the system for Operations Department and Distributors.
- Reviews, revises and publishes existing documentation in accordance to version releases.
- Researches and consults with technical staff to ensure accuracy of documentation
- Maintains new and existing documentation for continued relevance and accuracy.
- Ensure both new and existing documentation meets consistent, established standards for accuracy, presentation quality, grammar and composition.
- Writing other overview and introductory documents for various components if required.
Job Specification
Requirements
Qualification: B.S/B.E in Computer Science or BBA in M.I.S
Age : 24-27 years
Experience: Performed Technical Writing for at least 3 products or done technical writing for 1 year
- Must have strong comprehension skills
- Excellent writing skills.
- Ability to comprehend the working of systems in a creative manner
