Job Description
Responsibilities of the Position include but are not limited to:
1. Preparing test solutions, reagents and compounds for laboratory department to conduct test.
2. Developing, improving, and customizing products, formulas, processes, equipment, and analytical methods.
3. Analyzing inorganic and organic compounds to determine physical and chemical properties, composition, relationships, structure, and reactions, utilizing spectroscopy, spectrophotometer, and chromatography techniques.
4. Directing, coordinating, and advising personnel in test techniques for analyzing physical properties and components of materials.
5. Operating laboratory equipment like pH meters, ion analyzers, atomic absorption spectrophotometer, analytical balances, and so on.
6. Writing technical reports, papers, and prepares specifications and standards for products, facilities, processes, and tests.
7. Preparing samples for analysis and logs, tracks and processes samples.
8. Developing comparison charts, graphs and reference files on laboratory data.
9. Calculating testing results through applying determined limits and standards.
10. Reviewing or analyzing test results in order to locate inconsistencies or malfunctions.
11. Attending meetings related to test results explanation and test procedures.
12. Maintaining supply of standard reagents and solutions.
13. Repairing, maintaining, and calibrating lab equipment.
14. Learning sample preservation, new testing procedures, and operation of advanced laboratory.
