Symbol Engineering Services is an ISO certified company and requires an embossing and hot stamping supervisor to supervise die cutting, embossing and foil stamping machines and processes involved to ensure quality assured product inventory to support 100% orders fill. Ensures machines remain in top running conditions 1.Performs all die cutting/foil stamping, folding, embossing functions 2.Trouble-shoots machinery to adjust and correct problems 3.Changes and adjusts machines to run a variety of sizes 4.Maintains the smooth operation of the machines 5.Inspects the quality of product against established standards during machine operating processes. 6.Communicates (verbal and written) effectively with team and department, internal and external customers as required. 7.Completes required paperwork accurately. 8.Follows instructions and adheres to safety measures, policies and procedures, quality standards, and standards of operation. 9.Meets production expectations for assembled product. 10.Supervise Skilled and un Skilled Labor 11.Leadership skills 12.Maintenance of production facilities 13.Implements ISO 9001:2008 and Occupational Safety Standards 14.Read job orders to determine the type of work to be done, the quantities to be produced, and the materials needed. 15.Clean machines, perform minor repairs, and report major repair needs. 16.Maintain stock of supplies, and requisition any needed items 17.Complete records of production, including work volumes and outputs, materials used, and any backlogs.
