Optymyze Technologies is looking for a seasoned PHP developer with extensive knowledge in CodeIgniter framework. A perfect candidate should have at least 3-4 years of experience working with enterprise PHP applications.
Optymyze Technologies is a pioneer in Pakistan when it comes to developing VOIP/Messaging applications. With almost a decade of experience in the niche, we are planning to expand our servicing team throughout the country.
Job Description:

Your primary focus will be to maintain the existing code base, develop new modules, and integrate with 3rd party integration tools like Twilio, Firebase and more.
You are expected to have strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS and PHP. Must be able to work with source control (GIT) and should be comfortable reusing components and libraries through Composer.
Therefore, a commitment to overcome difficult challenges, create sophisticated designs and produce quality products with precision are must-have attributes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build applications using PHP CodeIgniter.
- Maintain existing applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Identify and improve performance bottlenecks.
- Troubleshoot and correct bugs.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Job Specification
- 3-4 years of experience developing and shipping enterprise web applications. (Must have links to active websites.)
- Should be able to work with HTML, CSS, JS and PHP.
- Working with 3rd party integrations like Firebase, Alamofire, Facebook, and other such SDKs using Composer.
- Strong understanding of writing code using design patterns like MVC and MVVM.
- Understanding of MERN stack is a plus but not required.
- (Optional) Candidates having experience working with messaging apps using technologies like Firebase, Twilio or Pubnub will be preferred.
