Job description | Administration and Business Development

Business Development

  1. Creating and Following up of new business opportunities as well as new products for BDC
  2. Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  3. Working towards feasibility and implementation plan for opening BDC Collection Centres around the city (a 5 year plan, to increase the number of collection centre year on year)
  4. Support in the development of marketing literature

HR Related

  1. Coordinate BDC office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to BDC policies
  2. Supervise staff and divide responsibilities to ensure performance
  3. Manage agendas for the BDC Committee
  4. Support each dept in making their budgeting and tracking progress against budget
  5. Create and update records and databases with personnel file, Leave data, Performance targets and history, financial and other data (both in soft form and hard copies)
  6. Follow up with depts. for tracking the stocks of various Inventory items, office supplies and other and place orders when necessary
  7. Overseeing Inventory and procurement related activities for the centre

Job Specification

  1. Support in the development of marketing literature
  2. Providing management with feedback
  3. Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  4. Evaluate Centre pricing model with competitors and suggest plan for improving the business
  5. Coordinate with Local community to build BDC Image
  6. Follow up with depts. for tracking the stocks of various Inventory items, office supplies and other and place orders when necessary
  7. Overseeing Inventory and procurement related activities for the centre
  8. Submit monthly reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned by Management for showing progress of Centre as well as progress on new development initiatives
  9. Processing of Payrolls including overtime and other incentives
  10. Performance appraisal of staff
