Job Description
IMPORT ASSISTANT
Required Import Assistant for an indenting / Import company located at Korangi Darussalam cooperative housing society,Karachi
Education & Experience: Bachelor with 2-3 years’ experience.
Salary: 25-30k
Job Responsibilities:
Pro-forma Invoice, Sales contract checking, to make sure it is as per issued order.
Submission of pro-forma invoice to Customers for LC opening and bank contracts.
Follow up of LC draft from customer, checking of LC draft , timely transmission of LC, LC amendments
Checking of draft shipping documents to make sure documents are as PER LC / Contract terms and conditions.
To raise RFQ with freight forwarders, comparison of quotes, nomination of freight forwarder.
Preparing Import Landed Cost Sheets.
Preparation of LC opening / bank contract documents with bank
Arrange marine insurance with insurance company
Liaison with customs clearing agent for timely clearance of shipments.
Job Specification
Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) & Interpersonal skills.
Should have good computer skills including Ms Office including outlook.
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to multi-task.
