We are looking to hire an accountant/accounts manager to look after our company's accounts and finance. They will be working in an office environment and handling finance related to real estate, property and construction sector mostly. You will be responsible for financial accounts of multiple projects undertaken by the company from time to time.
Duties:
-Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
-Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
-Preparing accounts and tax returns
-Monitoring spending and budgets
-Auditing and analysing financial performance
-Financial forecasting and risk analysis
-Advising on how to reduce costs and increase profits
-Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports
-Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations
-Keeping account books and systems up to date.
-Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports.
-Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies & procedures.
-Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or automatic debits.
Someone with a specialization degree in finance and accounting shall be preffered. You need to have a good work experience in the field as well as a clear understanding of all essential financial concepts. Excellent consulting, writing, presentation and communication skills are important.
