Adaptive (https://adaptive.idcheck.tech) is a UK, cloud-based ERP system with all modules built internally.

There is no wordpress/plugin/design work. This is a technical and challenging role. Over time, and if you are interested, this may lead to a full stack development role. This is an excellent opportunity to join a Software House, building its own products.

Long-Term Hire

For those that work well with our systems, this will be a long-term hire after the internship.

Key Responsibilities

The first 2 weeks will be intensive training - using our training material and exercises. There is also a 2-week probation period which you must pass to continue

Writing the Javascript components for a JS library that uses 2-way data-binding and supporting a more senior developer. You will work closely with him

Writing and testing the PHP controller file to link View and Model files

Training will be provided on AJAX and the Controller file, as well as the JS library but you must know core JS

Training will also be provided on databases and enough to read and understand the Modal file (inserts to and get data from the DB)

Terms

40hrs/week logged through screen monitoring

Remote Working, Flexi-Hours

You may not simultaneously take another full-time job or full-time course. However, we do allow you to do part-time activities, provided they do not interfere with your work

Flexi-Hours: 1) Days; OR 2) Mornings and Evenings; OR 3) Afternoons and Evenings. (You may not work most of your hours nights). You should complete 32 hours Monday-Thursday with 8 hours completed any time Friday-Sunday provided there are at least 24 hours consecutive rest

Pay: Month 1: PKT 15,000/month (This includes the training period)

Months 2-3: 15,000-20,000 (depending on how quickly you settle in)

Months 4-6: PKT 20,000-25,000 (depending on how quickly you settle in)

Month 7: Starting at 35,000/month

Performance-Based Bonuses

Security Deposit: PKR3,000 will be deducted each month, up to a total of PKR20,000, as a security deposit. It will be paid out in full once you leave and after you complete a 1-month notice period. Should we terminate you, it will be paid out in full with your final salary.

Minimum Requirements

Software Engineering/Computer Science Degree

You have completed Final Exams and ideally Final Year Project

Onboarding Documents: Proof of ID, Address and Degree (or 7th/8th semester transcript)

Core Javascript

Basic Knowledge of Core PHP preferred

Knowledge of AJAX preferred but not required

Knowledge of MVC preferred but not required

A good, “can do” attitude

Very good attention to detail

Very good logic
