One of the leading Retail Store chain of Pakistan is looking for Category Manager.
Vendor Relations
Establish strong relationships with manufacturers.
Build credible plans with manufacturers that show positive ROI.
Identifying new vendors/products;
Evaluate new products before going to market.
Product Maintenance
Product Code creation and management.
Price setting and price changes using in-house pricing tool.
Gathering and recording product information (from spec sheets, vendors or web);
Stock Management
To work with the Purchasing team to optimise stock levels and stock age profile;
Identifying stocking requirements, including special offers, constraint items and advance orders.
Internal Marketing
Communicating of product information to other internal departments
External Marketing
Liaise with manufacturer on advertising content;
Manage advertising publication space allocation;
Proof-read and ratify adverts.
Monitor, analyse and report on all activity performance.
