Job Description
Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the business requirements, and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test plans;
Documenting workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from client on the specifications;
Providing the link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle;
Designing and executing the acceptance test scenarios and test scripts;
Day to day management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met; and
Weekly reports to be produced for the project manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies.
Job Specification
A bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related discipline, from an accredited institute;
Must have at least 3 years of relevant work experience preferably working as a functional analyst in an ERP project involving Procurement, Finance and/or Accounts implementations;
Should be aware of ERP products;
Experience of analyzing and documenting complex business processes;
Experience of writing requirements specifications for Finance Information Systems;
A proven track record in Functional Analysis and Design; and
Results oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
