Job Description
- Be the first point of contact for all electrical works, especially MV and HV systems.
- Provide technical design support on any aspect of the electrical system.
- Manage and undertake due diligence of consultants employed to support the team on any technical matters.
- Undertake technical evaluations of tender bids.
- Manage interface and technical query processes.
- Review electrical design specifications and ensure all electrical equipment supplied to the package is compliant with the contract.
- Monitor works performance, programme compliance and quality of build.
- Arrange, attend and write minutes for progress and co-ordination meetings with Contractors, and interfacing parties.
- Assist in assessing and mitigating risk within the Contracts.
Job Specification
We are seeeking an Electrical Engineer who will support our wind farm projects with advice on and management of all matters related to electrical design, transport and installation design, integration of electrical works and electrical equipment including primary plant.
He should be:
- Degree Educated, Chartered Engineer status.
- Knowledge of the Renewable Energy or Oil & Gas sector.
- Min. 10 years experience of working in project environment.
- A strong understand of engineering from a commercial & technical perspective.
- Strong communication skills & ability to work as part of a team.
- Good relationship building across all levels.
- Fluent in English.
- Hard working and confident.
