Job Description
Costing of Pharmaceuticals Products.
Analysis of process constraint, target costing projects, margin analysis and tracing costs back to underlying activities.
To construct and monitor those cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management.
Posting of data in Quickbooks and Oracle Based Customized Software.
Checking of purchase orders.
Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts
Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close
Conduct ongoing process constraint analysis
Report on breakeven points by products, work centers and factories
Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances
Introduce cost reduction measures.
Job Specification
MBA (Finance)/ACMA / ACCA / CIMA (Partly qualified with relevant experience).
Knowledge of MS-Office, computerized accounting packages especially oracle.
Good interpersonal, communication and decision making skills.
Knowledge of accounting and statutory requirements.
Law and Government - Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules.
Economics and Accounting - Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
Having great deal of academic and professional knowledge of costing in a manufacturing concern, auditing and cost reduction methods.
