Job Description

Highly Keen - The HR Institute is looking for Manager Retail Operations for one of its client related of Retail Industry situated in GOJRA Pakistan. Job Description of required candidate is;

1.Responsible to implement the policies, procedures and relevant supporting documents for all the sub-domains of operations department.
2.Establish proper vendor selection criteria and Make sure the procurement is being made through suppliers who have cleared the company established vendor selection criteria.
3.Responsible to manage the purchases of all items of Rafiq Centers by giving tasks to Head Purchases after receiving official demands directly from In-charge Retail Operations and after getting products availability report from store.
4.Develop annual purchase budgets and approve the payments for purchases.
5.Set prices of all purchased items by keeping in view sales targets and by keeping in loop Head Purchases and In-charge Retail Operations.
6.Ensure that inventory is managed through proper Inventory Management System and proper inventory levels are maintained.
7.Design floor layouts when required.
8.Ensure the smooth operations of Retail by establishing proper discipline at all floors of shopping centers, do final decisions regarding visual merchandising, plan and execute seasonal sales promotions; announce special discounts on various events after approval from top management.
9.Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits and then define Monthly Sales targets for all floors and sections and get feedback from In-Charge Retail Operations regarding sales time to time.
10.Take actions according to policy on not achieving the sales targets or vice versa.
11.In future do meetings with various brands for franchising and shop in shop options and finalize them after approval from top management.
12.Responsible to perform mystery shopping on monthly basis through outsiders and take steps on its reports where necessary.
13.Take actions on audit reports performed by store and audit department, in case of shortage investigate the whole situation and take appropriate action against culprit.
14.Actively conduct bi-weekly (Sat & Tue) internal meetings with the divisional In-charges in Operations department for proper communication and coordination of all staff.
15.Visit various others shopping centre time to time of Gojra and other cities for observing good practices of them and implement the observed practices after customizing according to Rafiq Centre needs.
16.As a line manager, responsible to manage all the staff issues of Operations Department related to hiring/firing, leaves, grievances, disciplinary matters etc.
17.Quarterly perform the performance appraisal of immediate staff with the support of HR Department.
18.Any other tasks related to Operations assigned by Top Management.
