Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test and deploy web solutions
Manage tasks and timelines and assist project managers in project estimation
Help and share information among peer developers
Keep himself up to date with latest tools and technologies

Required Skills for this Ruby on Rails + PHP Developer position include the following:

Strong OOPs concept
Professional experience developing web applications
At least three (3) years of skill and experience with Ruby on Rails and PHP
Good PHP 4/5.0, HTML/DHTML, CSS and MySQL skills
AJAX/ jQuerry and ecommerce experience is essential
Must have experience of MVC architecture
Experience of Code Ignitor, Joomla, Drupal, Smarty or Zend framework is a plus
Should be able to write complex SQL queries and procedures
Must be able to show a commercial website or large Open Source project that you have developed (on your own, or as part of a team), ideally with Rails
Requirements Management, as well as Test Execution and Management skills strongly desired
