Job Description
Comprehensive Disaster Response Services is offering internship program to fresh graduates who are interested in observing and learning the inner-workings of how programs are put together within a Marketing and communication department of a nonprofit development organization that focuses on expanding the organization globally.
This internship focuses on strategic marketing and implementation, Fund-raising campaign design and implementation, media relations and publications, offering an opportunity to learn the techniques and strategies used in press outreach for a large non-profit organization, as well as the production of a variety of written materials including booklets, pamphlets, ads and brochures, organizing fund raising events and campaigns.
The Marketing and Communications Intern will learn and:
Help identify, plan, and implement new marketing campaign strategies, fund raising ideas and campaigns
Maintain company profiles on social media and networking websites
Organize and maintain the company on line store and physical charity product sales.
Write, design and coordinate distribution of company marketing materials.
Provide support for company team marketing, plan and budget fund raising programs.
Conduct market research on services, competitors, and effective marketing and fund raising tactics
Support other company teams and organization activities as assigned.
Job Specification
Any combination of education and experience providing the skill and knowledge for successful participation and
learning in the internship would be qualify.
Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
Must be actively and presently graduated from an accredited college or university.
Marketing, International relations, Foreign Languages, Politics, Economics, or Communications.
Social networking and non-profit knowledge preferred.
Microsoft Office
Diplomacy and teamwork.
