Software Developer - GUI
Do you have a love for developing web-based applications and a passion to build products for the financial services industry? Do you have a passion in developing stellar AJAX enabled GUIs for web-based applications that will lead the market in terms of their intuitiveness and ease of use? Are you looking for a new challenge and a very high impact role -- to get in on the ground floor of evolving a web-based application for which market success will largely be measured by the ease of use of the GUI? We currently have openings for Software Developer(s) at a US-based company looking to start operations in Pakistan.

Requirements:

- A passion for and experience with writing good Graphical User Interfaces

- Extensive experience with XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, DHTML, frameworks including Prototype, Scriptalicious, Dojo or similar.

- Understanding of valid and semantic markup
- Familiarity with W3C guidelines and specifications
- Experience with designing web-based interfaces with tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash MX, Flex.
- SVG
- Knowledge of usability testing and heuristic evaluations
- Experience with designing logos and icons for web interfaces
- Any experience with Coldfusion, .Net, or Perl is beneficial
- Understands the value of separating content, presentation, and behavior in order to produce clean, valid markup
- Knowledge of XML and XML-related technologies is a plus
- Excellent object-oriented design skills
