Job Description
Under the overall supervision of Resource Management Officer, The HR Assistant will be responsible for
1) Maintenance of the personnel files all staff of the Mission including sub offices make sure that all files are updated all the time.
2) Calculation of monthly overtime performed by all staff members in the Mission including sub offices.
3) Preparing General HR letters like, Bank letters, experience letters, employment letters of international and national staff of IOM, as required
4) To prepare Final Separations for national staff members in the Mission.
5) To ensure that all contracts of third party staff is issued. To coordinate their separation and recruitment with the concern unit.
6) To update third party staff list
7) To prepare third party staff payroll and to ensure timely disbursement of third party staff salaries
8) Assist in the preparation of HR reports that may be required in coordination with all the Sub-Offices
9) Assist in the preparation mission monthly Payroll.
10) To act as focal point for the staff files
11) To act as focal point of third party staff.
12) To arrange entry on duty medical for staff and to get necessary appointment
