Sales Support Engineer

-Looking for a Creative TEAM PLAYER undergraduate Engineer in Computer Sciences or Engineering, with some pre-sales work experience, requiring strong initiative and judgment.
-Willing to travel overseas on customer and project related activities.
-He must be having the ability to work independently within established guidelines and processes, to support the WSI Sales Team and Project Manager.
-The candidate will be provided opportunities and funding for certifications and international trainings of manufacturers/vendor trainings
- Provide hands-on technical assistance to Sales Team and WSI Agents and Resellers in preparing the configurations and proposals for IBM, CISCO, NetAPP and Microsoft systems.
- Review RFP and Tenders and prepare synopsis for sales management team.
- Prepare responses to Request for Proposals, Request for Information, and Tenders.
- Provide ICT technical assistance to Data Center Infrastructure enginer
- Responsible for staying abreast of current technologies and industry trends in computing, systems software and networking.
- Responsible for maintaining first level vendor relationships with IBM, CISCO, NetAPP and Microsoft and the Distributors.
- Responsible for merchandising and preparing the purchase req./orders for vendors, sub-contractors and keeping track of deliveries and payments.
- Conducts extensive technology research and provides advanced level of technical support.
- Assist with demonstrations and trade shows and on-site customer or project.

-IT related education (Computing and Network Hardware, MS) or other relevant technical undergraduate degree and certifications in IBM, CISCO or Microsoft mandatory. Candidates having certifications in MS SharePoint Portal will be preferred.
-Minimum 2-3 years hands on experience with similar role or a pre-sales role, which required configuration of IT equipment/ system and having some pre-sales support experience.
-Experience in any programming tools or language, especially in Java, ASP.net and good understanding of MS SharePoint.
-Experienced with understanding the vendors partner portals and relationships with IBM, CISCO or Microsoft.
-Excellent command and experience of using Microsoft Office Productivity tools, specially MS Word, Power Point and Excel.
-Excellent communication skills in English language and with strong creative, judgmental and analytical skills.
