Responsibilities:
- Should analyze and develop or write programs and/or modules using Perl
- Should investigate and solve issues independently
- Experienced in the development and maintenance of programs in Perl
- Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Concepts
- Writing unit tests and working with test automation engineers to produce fully tested solutions
- Shipping robust software for mission-critical problems
- The role will involve incorporating enhancements via coding, perform data changes and support the core client platforms
- Have great attention to detail
- Should be comfortable to look after the systems and maintain it
- Take full responsibility to run the migration of systems
- Escalate to stakeholders when necessary
- Be self-driven and work with little supervision towards a common team and company purpose
Requirements
- Master’s/ Bachelor’s Degree from a reputed University
- Minimum 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Object Oriented Perl (writing/maintaining small Perl script does not count)
- Perl make files, XS (Perl foreign function interface)
- JavaScript skills and experience in at least one JS framework
- Experience with CSS and HTML
- Experience with relational database like Oracle, MySQL
- Good exposure to Linux environment and commands
- Experience working with Regexes
