Job Specification
Your role will be to provide expertise of Android application development based on a set of business requirements, UI wireframes, and software requirements specification (SRS) to create a fully function and robust application quickly and effectively.
In addition to Android development, you will have the opportunity to work and gain technical knowledge on a span of technologies, including .NET, java, web/application servers, XML, web services, as well as other new and evolving technologies in Schwab''s technology enterprise.
Technical/Functional Qualifications
Experience creating compelling, feature-rich and highly scaled native Android applications.
3+ years Java experience with strong focuses in Object-Oriented application design.
3+ years Web Services experience
Hands on experience consuming JSON and XML RESTful Web Services Asynchronously and Synchronously (strong plus).
Ability to quickly master new technologies w/ creative problem solving skills.
Knowledge with financial business is a strong plus.
Familiarity with iPhone and other touch based mobile device development is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadline.
Work well in a multi-location environment.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
