POSITION OVERVIEW.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and reliable young talent to join our finance team in our back office based in ISLAMABAD in the senior accountant role. An individual whom is committed to a career in taxation and accounts and contributing both to the growth of the firm and our clients.
As a senior accountant you are responsible to prepare financial statements and VAT returns according to DUTCH GAAP/laws. Our most of the client’s administration/data in Dutch language So, GOOGLE TRANSLATION is a key tool to read and process the invoices and other financial documents.
WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE IN THIS ROLE.
- Preparing financial statements with detailed review according to Dutch GAAP.
- Preparing quarterly and annually VAT returns
- Performing Yearly and quarterly closings.
- Analyzing and managing Accounts receivable and payables.
- Complete bank reconciliations, journal entries and validating with supporting documents.
- Maintaining and recognizing fixed assets and leases.
- Understanding business and private cost through analyzing the client’s business activities.
- Bookkeeping.
- Provide directions to junior team members to ensure completion of filings by designated deadlines.
WHAT YOU MUST BRING TO THIS ROLE.
- CMA/ACCA (part qualified) MBA/BBA
- Minimum 1 year of experience in any UK/USA based Firm.
- Working knowledge of principles and applications of IFRS
- Able to manage time, prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
- Extensive knowledge of full accounting cycle for all business process including fixed assets managements, banking, accounts payable, accounts receivable and period end adjusting entries.
- Able to manage work load
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good command on accounting software
- A detailed test will be conducted for selected candidates.
- Working hours from 11:00am Till 8:00Pm (Monday to Friday)
