Job Description

Meet showroom business objectives by achieving monthly and annual Sales and Merchandise Category Budgets.
Responsible for all Showroom Sales & performance dashboards and reports as required by management.
Conduct Daily Floor Walks, Team meetings on a daily/ weekly basis on showroom achievements, individual performance, sales & customer service trainings, product knowledge and for dissemination of company information.
Responding to customer complaints and comments.
Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers.
Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing.
Implement sales promotion, and product display plans, analyze success rate of promotions, suggest for future promotions.
Actively participate in BTL activities to improve traffic to showrooms and ensure accurate footfall tracking.
Create in store excitement with innovative & creative merchandising ideas in coordination with Line Manager.
Observe and know the competition, compare pricing, selection of merchandise, customer service and stay updated with market trends.
Ensure customer service standards excellence.
Inventory Management,
Showroom Operations
Ensure implementation of and compliance with company SOP's for retail showroom operations, sales, pricing, payments and financial policies and procedures to safe guard company resources.
Control expenditures; minimize stock losses; coordinate to ensure zero Collection Outstanding and initiate corrective timely actions.
Responsible for showroom maintenance and safety of company assets.
Ensure all commercial requirements pertaining to Trade licenses, Health & Safety, Promotional.
Licenses and permits are maintained in coordination with Retail Manager.
Liaison with mall management teams and builds relationships to gain information on other retailers, footfall trends, mall promotion plans.
Ensure safe keeping of Co. assets so that losses are minimized.
Implement 'Disaster Recovery Plan' so that in the event of a disaster the safety of People and Assets is ensured.
Maintain motivated store team, use positive reinforcement to encourage continued improvement
Team Management
Attending and chairing meetings.
Ensure consistent staff performance by coaching, counselling, disciplining; planning, monitoring, and appraising performance results.
Oversee Cashier's activities (daily cash/ credit reconciliation/ bank deposits/ down payments and sales orders).
Oversee Store Keeper's activities pertaining to showroom Inventory Management/ Stock control/ Pilferage control.
Responsible for role delivery and development of Assistant Showroom Managers, Cashiers & Store Keepers.
Manage leave plans of Assistant Showroom Manager, Cashier and Storekeeper.
