Able to put forward quotations to the potential clients.
Able to contact with overseas associate.
Make quotation for clients in compliance with the International Commercial (INCO) terms.
A good knowledge of the current market rates for different regions.
Comprehensive knowledge of AITA, FIATA rules and regulations.
Must be knowledgeable of all available modes of delivery including trucking, rail companies, and airlines.
Must have good knowledge of international and domestic carriers.
Investigating and planning the most appropriate route for a shipment, taking account of the perishable or hazardous nature of the goods, cost, transit time and security.
Negotiating contracts, transportation and handling costs.
Make proposals; respond to RFQ’s etc to win profitable new business.
Ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Ensure KPI’s of freight operations are met for achieving productivity results.
