NETWORK ENGINEER

Job Description:

We are seeking a fairly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, administrating and maintaining the company's network infrastructure. This includes LAN, WAN, Wireless Neworks, WAP, FIREWALLS, ROUTERS, SWICTHES and CONTROLLERS as well as network security and network monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining network security solutions, such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Perform disaster recovery operations and data back-ups when requires.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Implement and maintain network monitoring tools to ensure uptime and availability of network services.
• Plan and execute network upgrades and migrations and operate master consoles to monitor the performance.
• Collaborate with other teams, such as the IT and security teams, to ensure the network infrastructure aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry best practices in network engineering.

Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in network engineering, design, and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
• Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
