Job Description
Sales Manager - Information Management Practice
- Develop & manage sales strategy, tactics, sales plans to attain the targets for the practice
- Lead the sales team
- Coordinate with marketing, presales & consulting teams to deliver high-quality market-competitive solution proposals
- Increase market share in existing markets and develop new business opportunities
- Achieve targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth; participate in setting up targets
- Constantly remain engaged with customers and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent customer services
- Constantly collaborate with existing customers to discuss their needs and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services
- Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections, based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Business Development teams to acquire new customers and constantly increase business network
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms
- Maintain visibility of market competition and negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements to maintain competitive edge
- Own company CRM to ensure all customer interaction is maintained in the system
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences
- Collaborate with marketing, consulting, finance/accounts teams to ensure aggressive growth for the organization
- Participate in formulating sales and business strategies with other stakeholders in the organization
Job Specification
- Overall 5+ years relevant experience, with the knack of aggressive growth
- Proven sales management experience, together with a good record of achieving targets
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills - experience with international customers (US/Europe)
- The ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team
- Excellent communication and 'people skills'
