Hiring
i. Provide staff orientation on company policies and health programs.
ii. Enroll employees in all health programs.
iii. Monitor and track 90-day follow up orientation program.
iv. Advertise for open positions, screen applicants, and lead the interview process.
v. Draft job descriptions with managers and supervisors as needed and maintain
job description file.
* Employee Counseling
i. Answer general human resources-related inquiries from staff.
ii. Responsible for overseeing all disciplinary actions, including terminations.
Process all associated paperwork.
* Administration
i. Manage time and attendance systems.
ii. Research legal requirements as needed. Collect, analyze, monitor, and
disseminate new law updates.
iii. Maintain training logs and all training activities.
Track paid time off and sick time.
iv. Maintain office bulletin boards in compliance with legal directives.
v. Perform other duties assigned by management.
vi. Maintain the required confidential nature of human resources.
vii. Keep personnel files current.
viii. Create and implement new policies and procedures as needed. Update
Employee Handbook as needed.
ix. Ability to convey a positive and professional image to applicants and employees.
Administration
* Executive Support
i. Set up meetings, coordinates visits to facility, travel arrangements, calendar,
mail, answers telephone inquiries, and prepares reports and correspondence for
the company.
ii. Support board meeting material preparation and maintenance. Distribute
agendas and take meeting minutes.
* Development Support
i. Collate information for grants and prepare for mailing.
ii. Prepare and mail event invitations and other promotional pieces as needed.
* Secretarial Support
i. Demonstrate a professional demeanor in all interactions with visitors and
clients. Welcome visitors, determine the nature of business, and announce visitor to appropriate
staff members.
ii. Answer and direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel; provide callers with
information on the organization including address, directions, or mailing
information; take and deliver messages; exemplify the organization’s values of
respect, responsiveness, and professionalism.
iii. Receive, sort, date stamp, and route all incoming mail and faxes in a timely and
efficient manner in order to support staff and operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Years Experience
Preferred: Bachelors degree in Business Administration (with specialization in HR) from HEC recognized institute.
Work Experience: Fresh
Minimum cGPA required: 3.0
