Job Specification
Key responsibilities of the selected candidate will be as undermentioned:
1. Preparation of monthly financial statements,
2. Reporting to Executive management about key accounting issues of the organization.
3. Oversees the daily accounting activities required tomaintain the client’s general ledger.
4. Responsibilities including, but not limited to, cash reconciliations, account statement reconciliations, check runs, accounts receivable transactions,
fixed asset activity, payroll, accounts payable transactions, debt activity, recording of revenue and expenses, e.t.c.
5.Maintains organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions.
6.Resolves complex accounting issues or assists other Authority personnel in resolving financial issues.
7.Reviews general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of posting.
8.Produces financial reports involving the Authority’s trust accounts for monthly board meetings.
9.Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
10.Produces quarterly and annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports.
11.Makes and implements recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures.
12.Performs other duties as assigned or required.
