Responsible to Assistant Production Manager / Production Manager for management disciplines.
- For the safe operation of machines in the section under his control by ensuring that the machine:
Operators are trained.
Machines are in safe working condition
Machines are maintained to an acceptable standard.
Incase of any fault in the machine liaise with fitters and Mechanical Forman for quick recovery/operational serviceability.
Ensure proper documentation of down time and maintenance records are prepared and submitted to Plant Manager through channel of reporting.
- Responsible for the practical implementation of the Factory’s Quality Policy
- Communicate with Maintenance, Quality and Administration departments for excellent teamwork.
- Responsible for the implementation of Quality Management System and Food Safety Program
- Responsible for the correctness of the processes under his control, by ensuring compliance with recipes as well as with machine operating procedures.
- Responsible for the cleaning and hygiene of the area under his control including cleaning of machine, personnel’s and facilities.
- Responsible for the achievement of daily production targets.
- Responsible for appropriate usage / record of materials including rework and control wastage in accordance the specified standards.
- Make sure that all the products being produced under his control according to recipes and quality standards.
- Responsible to educate the new coming employees accordingly.
- Immediately inform any obstruction in his work to Assistant Production Manager.
