What is Expert Database amp; Reporting?
An " Expert Database amp; Reporting" specializes in the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack amp; would be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the department's data architecture. You will work closely with the business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure that data is collected, stored, and processed efficiently and effectively.
As an Expert Database amp; Reporting, you will make significant, self-directed, and end-to-end contributions to building and managing best-in-class data pipelines and architecture. You think beyond just the task at hand to deeply understand the 'why' behind what you are doing.
As part of a high-performing team, you will deliver exceptional services and spearhead the building of scalable and robust data solutions.
What does Expert Database amp; Reporting do?
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using SQL Server, SSIS and SSRS
- Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and design data solutions to meet those needs
- Ensure data quality and data governance standards are met
- Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability
- Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture and processes
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of data pipelines
- Troubleshoot and fix data pipeline issues as they arise
- Stay up to date with new technologies and trends in data engineering and Microsoft Business Intelligence stack.
What are we looking for and what does it require to be Expert Database amp; Reporting?
- Strong experience with SQL Server, SSIS and SSRS
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL design and development
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data architecture concepts
- Experience with data governance and data quality
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
