Creative Editor

We are looking for a full-time Creative Editor / Motion Designer for our internal Creative Studio at Beam.

What you can expect from us:

• You will take care of the full scope of the post production process of various moving image material
• You will set the overall style of videos for our brand and for our clients. This means you will edit, develop and add animations, finetune sound and music layers and finish everything with grading.
• You will set the standards how create workflows with our Creative Producer and guide colleagues through the full project until delivery

• You will help to shape our brand and help us bring it to life with an in-house creative team
• You will lead and execute the post production of different types of videos securing the highest quality standards
• You will help set, improve, and implement post production standards
• You will be one of the first members of our new creative team, helping to shape the culture and our overall brand in the tech market

What we expect from you:

• You have work experience as a Senior Creative Editor / Motion Designer as freelancer or in a production company, creative agency or an in-house creative team
• You enjoy working with a diverse group of people can handle multiple projects simultaneously
• You have good understanding of technical requirements for video files and processes how to work with different types of codecs and containers
• You are happy to listen and implement visions of others into your projects
• Your English skills are excellent
• A great portfolio with diverse work examples and approaches

Requirements

• 6+ years experience as freelancer or in a production company, a creative agency, or in-house creative team within a comparable position. (A background in Design is a plus)
• You have a great portfolio with diverse work examples and approaches (across multiple channels and touch-points is a plus)
• You are fluent with different programs of the Adobe Creative Suite and Davinci Resolve
• You have a collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills
• You are able to work in a fast-paced data-driven environment with a positive attitude and the ability to multitask
• You have the ability to stay focused under pressure, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Your English skills are excellent
• You should be open to listening, understanding and implementing visions of others into your projects
• You have good understanding of technical requirements for video files and processes how to work with different types of codecs and containers
