PART-TIME Accountant
We are seeking a skilled accountant to join our team and help us take advantage of R&D tax credits and investment opportunities available in the UK.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding or the ability to research of UK tax laws and regulations related to R&D tax credits and investment, and will be able to provide expert advice to clients on how to maximize their benefits.
Responsibilities:
Work with us to identify eligible R&D activities and expenses, and prepare claims for R&D tax credits
Provide advice and guidance on investment opportunities available in the world, and help us make informed investment decisions
Prepare financial statements, tax returns, vat returns and other financials
Conduct audits and reviews of financial records to ensure compliance with UK tax laws and regulations.
Keep up-to-date with changes in UK tax laws and regulations related to R&D tax credits and investment, and advise clients accordingly
Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive financial advice and support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
ACCA, ACA, or other relevant professional qualification
At least 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on R&D tax credits and investment
Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations related to R&D tax credits and investment
Experience working with clients in a professional services firm or accounting firm
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
