Application Risk Assessment Specialist

• Conduct risk assessments of the organization's applications to identify and evaluate potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls to reduce identified risks.
• Work with development teams to ensure that applications are designed and developed with security in mind.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that applications are deployed and configured securely.
• Monitor and track application security incidents and breaches, and develop response plans to mitigate their impact.
• Conduct third-party risk assessments to evaluate the application security risks associated with vendors and partners.
• Develop and maintain application security policies, procedures, and guidelines based on industry best practices and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in application risk assessment, with a focus on risk management and mitigation.
• Strong knowledge of application security standards and regulations, such as OWASP, PCI-DSS, etc.
• Experience in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies and controls for applications.
• Familiarity with application security testing tools and techniques, such as static and dynamic analysis, penetration testing, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CSSLP, CEH, CISM, or other related certifications are a plus.

• Candidate must be willing to travel both nationally and internationally that will be dually compensated
• Hiring location could be either of Karachi / Lahore / Islamabad
