Job Description
Candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree / Diploma or On Job Training in electronics, instrumentation or on a closely related field.
At least five years progressively responsible instrumentation technician experience including repair and troubleshooting of electronic process control equipment and motor control centers. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
Job Specification
Install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electronic and electromechanical equipment to insure proper operation; maintain and troubleshoot computerized process control equipment such as PLCs, RTUs, and SCADA system devices; troubleshoot control system and electrical power system failures in plants, lift and pump stations; prepare documentation to produce traceable information paths including CAD drawings and plots; instruct operations personnel in proper use of electronic process controllers; maintain awareness of new technology; moderate programming of computerized process control equipment.
