Job Description
- Develop plans for the implementation of the project in the assigned area. This should include assisting in design and overseeing timely implementation of all activities.
- Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs.
- Estimate costs and prepare specifications for materials used in civil engineering works, calculate costs and estimate completion times to prepare tenders.
- Developing BOQs
- Measure and test material processes or systems related to civil engineering works. Inspect civil engineering works, modify and supervise repair work and maintenance. Check to make sure that finished works are within specifications, contract terms and regulations.
- Analyze and record reports on loading, labor, productivity, quality, materials and performance
- Provide skilled assistance to builders and construction managers by interpreting and carrying out directions for planning and organizing building projects
- Develop and maintain good relationships and lines of communication with relevant local authorities.
- Laison with government department for project implementation.
