Job Description
The Server position is a permanent, full-time position. The Server is a member of our management team, and meets the needs of our guests by serving tables, as well as managing, hiring, and scheduling the server staff.
Job Specification
Responsibilities:
Lead the server team with on the job training and by providing guidance, must lead by example.
Performs all typical server duties, with specific attention to detail.
Provides a superior level of service to all clients.
Intervenes and aids staff when necessary to promote customer satisfaction.
Ensures cleanliness and proper function of the restaurant and restaurant equipment.
Maintenance of Silverware POS system, updating menus, pricing and structure.
Participation in management meetings, discussions and decisions.
Liaison between management and server staff.
Creation and maintenance of the server schedule.
Hiring of server staff with the assistance of the General Manager.
Training of Server staff to ensure safe work environment and skill levels are met
Ensuring performance level and competency of server is excellent.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years serving experience in an upscale service environment.
Minimum 2 years management/ supervisory experience in an upscale restaurant environment.
Bilingual
English and Arabic an asset.
Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Superior customer service skills/ guest service focused.
Positive attitude and friendly personality is essential.Ability to represent the restaurant with a professional image.Excellent communication skills, both in person, through emails,and over the phone.
Excellent time management skills and multitasking ability.
