Job Description of Sales Promotion Officer / Territory Manager
1) To achieve or exceed agreed sales target of all company products assigned with judicious implementation of designed marketing strategies and promotional tools.
2) To build close liaison with target customers and Key Opinion Leaders of the territory to use them for scientific activities and maximum generation of prescriptions of the products.
3) To prepare target customers’ list as per guidelines, visit them regularly and frequently as per company policy and communicate products’ message effectively, resulting into prescription generation and sales of the assigned territory.
4) To keep continued prospecting practice for induction of new customers in the territory (validation & revalidation process).
5) To plan work schedule & time table;
6) To plan & implement an effective call plan;
7) To build effective business relationships with health care partners & customers;
8) To prospect for new business;
9) To develop strategies to approach potential customers & increase sales;
10) To distribute physician samples to licensed practitioners or dermatologists;
11) To distribute product technical information to health care professionals;
12) To demonstrate products;
13) To organize and execute sales presentation;
14) To take sales orders from customers;
15) To develop & present educational programs;
16) To organize group events e.g., LSPs & RTDs & conferences for health care professionals;
17) To maintain detail records of all contacts and meetings and create reports for submission to manager;
18) To keep current with clinical data and present this data to health care professionals;
19) To keep informed about the activities of health care professionals and organizations in a specific area;
20) To keep current with the competitor's products, services being offered and their activities;
To liasion with distributor for timely order preparation;EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
*Bachelor's degree holder, preferably in biological sciences;
*Comprehensive understanding of health sciences;
*Experience in pharmaceutical or health care industry;
*Proven ability to promote and sell products and services;
*Good product knowledge;
*On-the job company training program;
